St Eadmer Church Bleasdale

St Eadmer Church, Bleasdale Forest of Bowland.

Having left behind the Bleasdale Church of England Primary School and the Bleasdale Parish Hall you continue up the lane to the St Eadmer Church.

St Eadmer’s Church has a unique dedication, celebrating the Northumbrian monk who discovered the site of Durham Cathedral, the final resting place of St Cuthbert of Lindisfarne.

The photograph shows the main entrance to St Eadmer Church. The gate to the right of the entrance is the start of the footpath of the Bleasdale Nature Trail and Bleasdale Circle.
