St George’s Church, Dunsop Bridge Forest of Bowland. ![]() The St. George’s Church at Dunsop Bridge is situated in the centre of the village which the Ordnance Survey has designated the Centre of the United Kingdom.
A small village chapel it is within the parish of Slaidburn, and the most westerly church in the Anglican Diocese of Leeds. The building is owned by the Duchy of Lancaster. |

![]() According to the survey of bells of the former Bradford Diocese (in which the parish was until 2014) the bell dates back to 1613, although the present building is of 19th century. |
