Newton Bridge

Newton Bridge, Forest of Bowland, Lancashire.

Newton Bridge is located close to the village of Newton in Bowland in the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire.

Newton Bridge which carries the B6478 road (Hallgate Hill) over the River Hodder is a Grade II Listed Building built in the late 18th century.

It is in sandstone and consists of two segmental arches with a triangular cutwater. The bridge has a solid parapet, weathered coping, and a string course.
